How we tackle stains

Identify the stain

We assess the stain type, how long it's been there, and whether heat or incorrect cleaning has set it. We'll tell you upfront what's achievable.

Targeted treatment

We apply the right treatment for the specific stain - enzyme-based, solvent, or specialist agents. Different stains need different chemistry.

Steam extraction

Our truck-mounted machine flushes the loosened stain out of the fibres completely, leaving the area clean and dry in hours.

Common questions about stain removal

Most stains yes, but not all. Some stains set permanently when treated with heat or left for a very long time. We'll assess the stain before we start and be straight with you about what we think we can achieve. We don't charge for results we didn't deliver.

No. We use the correct products for the carpet or fabric type. We check the fibre composition first and adjust our approach accordingly, including for wool and delicate materials.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Age makes some stains harder to shift, especially if they've been walked on or treated previously with the wrong products. We'll give you an honest assessment when we look at it.

We can treat individual stains as a standalone job. If the rest of the carpet would benefit from a clean, we'll let you know and you can decide. No pressure either way.

Treated areas dry in 2 to 4 hours in summer and 4 to 6 hours in winter. You can walk on the area with clean socks almost immediately.
